Last night we were talking about how everyone can promote mental health awareness. Everyone had a story of when they had struggled and what had helped. 

What did I take away from the conversation? Everything.

- That it is important to check in with everyone and when we ask how they are doing - really pay attention to the answer.

- Encourage the sharing of experiences, seek help, don't isolate yourself

-The connection between physical and mental health. Finding the physical activities that help whether this is gardening, running, yoga, tennis.

- A little bit of anxiety before a presentation, event, exam can be a good thing. Harness this and turn it into positive energy

-An objective perspective can be helpful to stop spiraling.
